How You Can Finance a Seemingly Luxurious Lifestyle That is Affordable?
The quality of life in the present times has enhanced beyond anyone’s expectations. The facilities and luxuries we get to enjoy today could not even have been imagined by our ancestors.
We have massaging lounge chairs that make watching TV and relaxing the only thing, I personally look forward to. You should get one too, it is pure bliss.
It is also a well known fact that luxury often makes our pockets empty.
However, does it have to?
Can we not enjoy all that is great about the present times without seeking a short-term loan? Would you not prefer to take that loan to expand your business, instead of paying for a designer closet?
I know I would and so should you. Luxury refers to you being comfortable and at ease. Yes, it also means a great expensive, but comfort and ease come first. So, today I will tell you three ways that can make your standard of living elevated, without demolishing your bank balance.
Looking For the Sale Sign
Luxury often mandated splurges, meaning that it can compel you to buy new things to make you encounter the full luxurious experience.
Now, you can spend a ton of money to get every expensive thing that you want and go wayward on your budget or you can spend economically. And the best way to do that is to look for signs of sale, discounts and offers.
Why should you be paying a ton of money for a Zara jacket, when you can get it on 40% off?
Every time there is a festival, there is a sale; Christmas and New Year’s being the biggest.
Every time the season changes, there is a sale; the stores try clearing out all the last year’s stock.
You just have to keep an eye out and whenever there is a Buy One, Get One available, grab that deal with both your hands and luxury will be all yours.
Cutting Back on the Unwanted
Luxury doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to spend and only spend. You are aiming for a higher quality of life and not bankruptcy. So do not overspend and cut back on things that you do not need.
If you only watch Netflix and Amazon Prime, do you really need to pay the unneeded cable bill?
If you never wear diamonds, why do you need it? Can’t gold be an equally luxurious substitute?
You can always look for alternates for the things that are too expensive on your budget. If you did not wear a Fenty Jacket and instead opted for your mom’s handed knitted cardigan, nobody is going to judge. However, if you wear the fake Fenty, people are definitely going to judge.
Do not try too hard, eliminate the unwanted and focus on the things that are manageable and you will find yourself at ease with your life.
Traveling by Stretching
I’ll explain this one with an example.
I am a freelancer and I wanted to go to Canada for a vacation, the Niagara Falls and the CN Tower were calling my name. Canada is expensive, so I needed to apply for a loan and I was not able to get one, because I am a freelancer and my income is all over the place.
When I did manage to get credit without a proof of income, I decided to change my destination. Instead of Canada, I went to Indonesia, the country is equally beautiful, especially Bali; I could have stayed there forever.
I changed my destination because a Euro is equal to 17,614 Indonesian Rupiah, so the trip for pretty economical for me.
So, you can also travel the world, but do it to places wherein you can stretch your currency to the maximum and make the trip as affordable as possible. For me, the next place is Chile.
So, there you have it, just these three can bring a great deal of difference in your life and make it a lot more luxurious than it already is.
